Join us for a weekend designed to REST, RESET and RECHARGE!

This year’s Immersion is entitled, Building Your Container of Well-Being: Learn to Strengthen your Emotional Resiliency Using iRest Yoga Nidra.

These days, it is very common to find ourselves rushing from task to task, trying to accomplish the impossibly long to-do list, and doing it while running on empty! This Immersion is designed to hit the “pause” button on your life and enable you to drop into these beautiful practices and dare I say it...REST! Allow yourself the time, space and attention inward in order to reconnect to your most precious resource---You.

If we want to truly connect with ourselves and those we care about, and be a positive force in the world, we need to take time to rebuild our Container of Well-Being. Within this container, we have an immense capacity for joy, love, contentment, ease and resiliency; and iRest practices show us directly how to access, maintain and strengthen this core of well-being that resides in each and everyone of us.

iRest Yoga Nidra is a practice of meditation offering the opportunity to deeply relax while remaining present and awaken to your essential nature of timeless Being. This practice leaves you feeling refreshed, healed, and whole while experiencing an unshakable peace and well being present during even the most challenging moments.

This immersion is designed for newcomers and experienced practitioners alike. Our time together includes iRest practices, an overview of the 10 steps of iRest, and group discussion. Together we will explore using iRest to:

  • Manifest your heart’s desire and purpose

  • Finding your inner resource of well-being

  • Welcome & engage challenging emotions and beliefs

  • Incorporate iRest in the midst of daily life

  • Understand the neuroscience of meditation

  • Awaken to your essential wholeness and true nature

To benefit the most from this event you might enjoy reading either of Richard Miller’s books, Yoga Nidra: A Meditative Practice for Deep Relaxation and Healing or The iRest Program for Healing PTSD, and enjoy listening to the accompanying audio practices. The audio for the PTSD book is also available here.

For those in the iRest Certification Program this immersion fulfills the short retreat requirement. To meet this qualification you are required to attend the whole event.
